Project Officer & Communication Advisor

Position Overview
We are hiring two summer students for the following roles:
🟦 Project Officer (1 Position)
The Project Officer will support project planning, coordination, and research activities. This role involves organizing tasks, collaborating with team members, and ensuring deadlines are met. It is ideal for students who are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
🟩 Communication Advisor (1 Position)
The Communication Advisor will support content creation, social media management, and communication initiatives. This role involves creating engaging content and assisting with outreach and digital communication efforts. It is ideal for students with experience in media and content creation.
Key Responsibilities
Project Officer
Assist with project coordination and planning
Support research and reporting activities
Track tasks and ensure deadlines are met
Collaborate with team members on project deliverables
Communication Advisor
Create and edit content for social media platforms
Support communication and outreach initiatives
Assist with digital content and campaigns
Identify opportunities to increase engagement
Requirements
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Organized and able to manage tasks effectively
For Communication Advisor:
Experience in media, content creation, or social media
For Project Officer:
Experience in research, coordination, or group projects
💰 Compensation
Wage: $17.60 per hour
✅ Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
Be legally entitled to work in Canada
Be returning to school in the next academic year
